Antonio Arocho
Antonio Arocho's career in education spans over 23 years in the NYCDOE. He has been a school principal, COVID Regional Enrichment Center Supervisor, assistant principal, STEM instructional coach, staff developer, and high school Biology and General science teacher to English Language Learners and he was also the Project Manager for the Angelo Del Toro - Puerto Rican/ Hispanic Youth Leadership Program. He mentored the Aspira of New York Leadership development program at a New York City High School. Antonio Arocho has served the children in all five boroughs of New York throughout his career.
As a School District Administrator, he collaborates with other educational leaders to help improve the learning and teaching environments for students. He supports schools in their annual and ongoing strategic planning, and progress monitoring to make gains and meet student achievement benchmarks.
As a testament to his dedication, and leadership, he earned a Fulbright Fellowship for Award Winning Principals in 2006 to Brazil.
His favorite hobbies include traveling, reading about history, watching Marvel and DC Superhero movies with his children, spending time with his family, fishing, learning about nutrition, health, wellness, and exercise.
