Ethan Newlin is the Academic Policy, Performance, and Assessment Lead for District 13. Before joining D13, Ethan worked as an APPA at the Brooklyn North NYCDOE Borough Office leading a team of fellow APPAs supporting over 230 schools across the borough. Ethan started his career in education 16 years ago in District 6 as an English teacher in Washington Heights. When he isn’t supporting schools, Ethan enjoys hiking, traveling, playing with his dog Otto, and coding.
