Lisa began her teaching career as a 4th and 5th grade teacher in a Spanish/English Dual Language program in Massachusetts. After returning to NYC, she worked to start up a new charter school and became the founding principal. Lisa began her NYC DOE career as a literacy coach in a Dual Language school in District 15 before moving to become an APPA and then an ELL/ML Services Administrator for the Brooklyn North BCO.
